VEINWAVE TREATMENT IN OMAHA, NE

Vein Wave in Omaha, NE

Center of Dermatology, P.C. is pleased to offer state-of-the-art VeinWave therapy for removal of small, unwanted thread veins and vascular blemishes on your legs and face. This revolutionary procedure was developed in Britain and has recently received FDA approval for use in the United States.

OVERVIEW
The VeinWave system uses thermocoagulation to remove thread veins and vascular blemishes quickly and permanently. This process utilizes very high frequency microwave energy to “heat” the visible vein, causing it to be reabsorbed into the body. Veins less than 4 mm on the legs, ankles, face, and neck respond very well to treatment.
TREATMENT
VeinWave uses an ultrafine insulated needle through which very high frequency microwave energy is delivered into the blood vessels, causing heating and shrinkage of the veins without damaging the surrounding skin. After treatment, the targeted blood vessels fade away over the course of a few weeks.
VeinWave treatments generally last 20–30 minutes depending on the number of veins being treated.

There is little or no downtime associated with the VeinWave process, so you can resume normal activities immediately following treatment. Most patients experience slight redness on the skin for a week to ten days after treatment.
RESULTS
The results of VeinWave therapy are immediate and lasting. Depending on your individual needs, you may require a series of treatments to safely and effectively achieve the results you want.
