Sclerotherapy is a method of treating blood vessels, often present on the legs if adults. Dr. Stoller injects a hypertonic saline solution which is a concentrated solution of salt and water to treat spider veins. The solution collapses the vessels and they are reabsorbed by the body over several weeks. One or more sessions are required for the spider veins to disappear.
